Front
Lobby
Manchester, CT
The renovation of Manchester Hospital’s front lobby was challenging
because of its busy environment. This project included the demolition
of all of existing finishes and reconstruction of the entire area.
Work was completed during both regular and off hours in order
to accommodate patients and staff using the busy area. The highlights
of this project included a water wall and a fiber-optic star-light
system constructed within a vaulted ceiling.
Another view of the lobby renovation features some of the millwork
incorporated into the project. This entire project was funded
by the Women's Auxiliary which sold coffee to raise funds for
this project as well as many others throughout the hospital. We
hope they enjoy their new environment.
